Project Description:
FavoritFynd.se is a Swedish online shopping market where numerous items are offered at a discounted price, namely, electronics, home and kitchen appliances, clothing, seasonal items, and personal care. The idea is to treat the shoppers in Sweden with value offers and flash deals.
Project Overview:
This was aimed at increasing the visibility and the organic traffic of category level and the product level searches at Swedish Search engines. FavoritFynd.se experienced a high product catalog when it was onboarded but lacked a suitable search engine optimization framework, keyword mapping, or content optimization strategy.
We focused on improving the local structure, right indexing of the product pages, as well as doing localized SEO Sweden.
Notable actions have been:
- Had done extensive keyword research in Swedish and centred on transactional keywords like billiga electronic online, rabatterade hemprodukter and rea klad Herren nighty dam.
- On-page search engine optimization of categories and product descriptions together with filters using the right meta titles and description together with local keywords.
- Technical fixes such as canonicalization, crawl depth optimization and schema markup of products and reviews.
- Creating blog posts based on SEO optimization comprising shopping tips, seasonal guides, and recommendations of the emerging products.
- Local link building by using the Swedish directories, coupon, and shop comparison sites.
The organic traffic began to rise gradually in several months and ended up with leading positions in major groups and intent-based search requests.
Results Achieved:
- Organic traffic up by 210 per cent over 5 months.
- More than 65% of the total primary product and category keywords were appearing on the Page 1 of Google Sweden (google.se).
- More organic sales and less bounce rate in key product page.
- Improved crawling optimization and indexing of thousands of products SKU.
- Fortified the store in the Swedish eCommerce market.
